Sept 2009 Geology River Trip - Part 1 Day 7 Sept 19 from Football Field mile 138 to National Canyon mile 166.5

138    Football Field camp start
151.5 Ledges (noted as camped here before)
156.5 Havasu
160    40 minutes past Havasu, est mile - shady lunch spot - lunch was tortillas with salad
166    National Canon camp/hike, Dinner was salmon with a fine cherry cobbler


Day 7 we woke up in Football Field Camp and moved down the river to National Canyon

We got up early as we planned on making serious miles and several good stops

The jump it did from the beach to get to where we see it in the photo above was impressive and we assume it did get back up
